In order to educate the younger generation on road safety and to train them on the various methods of defensive cycling, K. Bala took the initiative to organize the Cycle Safely Programme which was launched on June 8, 2003.

With the co-operation of the Malaysian Road Safety Council, training sessions were held for school children in K.L., Banting, Klang, Penang, Terengganu, Cameron Highlands and Sarawak.

The objective of this programme is to train children to be more aware of the dangers on the road and the steps taken to avoid accidents. They learnt traffic signs, the correct way to wear a bicycle helmet, practice safe riding and etc…!
