Better safe than
sorry!
By Shereen Wong
The Church organised the Better Safe Than Sorry City Survival
Training for Ladies on Saturday,
14 February 2004. More than 500 ladies attended the four-hour
session and went away thoroughly
enriched and blessed.
Below are some
of the feedback received:
"I learnt a lot about self-protection. I am grateful to the
Church for the practical expression
of care for the women."

"A morning well
spent. Should
repeat the session for others."
"So blessed. I
wish I had
brought all my friends."
"This is a
genuine Valentines giftlove and compassion
in action."
"The presenter
is so interesting and hilarious. The four
hours passed so fast."
"I am so glad I brought my daughters."
"Good for
Calvary Church doing things to meet real needs."
The "care and love" were also expressed by more that 20 women who
came out early at 7am to pack the refreshment for the large crowd.
The numerous requests for the presenter to do the session at the
offices of some of the attendees further indicated the great benefit
which resulted from the session.
